Quilts From El’s Attic

Join Eleanor Burns as she shares her passion for antique quilts. Her collection has grown into hundreds of beautiful quilts. Along with Eleanor’s love of antique quilts is her passion to simplify those beautiful vintage patterns of Grandma’s day. Eleanor teaches her methods to recreate such quilt patterns as Dresden Plate, Goose in the Pond, Fans, Crow’s Nest and more! The best part is Eleanor’s clever techniques. Her instructions, along with step by step illustrations, make these treasured patterns available to today’s busy quilters as full size quilts and combining the collection into one sampler. In addition to the patterns, Eleanor shares vintage quilts from her own collection, offering fabric selection advice, lovely sample quilts, history, and yardage and cutting charts. 199 pages
