Duchess satin is a heavier weight, luxurious, soft, and shiny fabric generally used in eveningwear, lingerie, bridal/wedding, and high end sportswear. The Banana Silk Duchess Satin Fabric has a satin weave with a beautiful pearly sheen and a matte back. Duchess satin is sturdy and hold its shape when draped.
