Use:Originally designed as a textile and translated as an exceptional embroidery Persian Tulip Embroidery features elegant teardrop-shaped motifs connected by striped ribbons. This updated design honours the traditional Persian aesthetic admired by William Morris and John Henry Dearle. A striking diagonal layout leads the eye through the piece where tulip heads are nestled within a chevron ribbon. What sets this embroidery apart is its tactility: a dissolvable foam and fabric paper is used in the stitching before overdyeing pooling colour across the cotton threads for a rich aged artisanal effect with a sculpted surface.
