Sortelegium

Sortelegium is a Latin word meaning enchantment, and was the name of Tony Duquettes 100 acre ranch in Malibu, California, which was created to resemble a cabinet de curiosit full of Duquettes own works. The figures and fanciful bamboo framework which surrounds them are inspired by many of Duquettes papier mach, coral and objets dart that were displayed in his residences. Like all of these creations of Duquettes, this elegant cotton print is also intended to inspire originality and creativity in those who use it.
